What are Podcasts?
Podcasts
are MP3 audio files (in our case, the weekly sermons) that are
automatically downloaded to your personal computer, and then
transferred to an iPod or other MP3 player using a podcasting
application. The term 'Podcast' is a combination of the words 'iPod' (Apple's portable digital music player), and 'broadcast'.
However, you don't need to own an iPod to use a Podcast - all you need is a computer and a program that supports Podcasting.
So what equipment do I need?
The
basic requirements for podcasting are a computer (PC or Mac),
podcasting software and an Internet connection. For portability, an
iPod or other MP3 player is needed.
Got a computer, where is the software?
